Apps are still downloading after 3-days. What is the problem?

I purchased a new iPhone 11 on Saturday. Today is Tuesday and the apps on the new phone indicate that most are in downloading mode. What is recommended for this situation?

Try this: Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

Experience: My iPhone XR hadn’t made any progress downloading apps after an hour, a quick force restart and we were off to the races (internet permitting).

It’s a good idea to leave the phone connected to power and Wi-Fi until it finishes downloading the apps. That will be much faster. For comparison, my 300 3rd party apps download in less than 30 minutes when I restore my phone.
