Removed iPhone from My Devices in iCloud before turning off FindMyiPhone - Help! Pls!

My phone was damaged beyond repair and I am trying to replace it with my phone insurance. However, before I turned the FindMyiPhone feature off, I accidentally removed the phone from My Devices in iCloud. So now....Verizon insurance will not continue with my insurance claim until I add the device back to iCloud in order to turn off FindMyiphone. Does anyone know how to do this??? Would greatly appreciate any help! Thank you!
