Why is multitask on iOS 15 for iphone 13 pro not working?

What is it that you are trying to do? You can switch between apps on the iPhone, but that isn't truly multi-tasking. It is just that apps are suspended in the background and are easily accessed to open again.
That requires YouTube support, which I believe they only offer on premium YouTube memberships.

I am no longer able to multitask with video overlay. Eg Keep YouTube open or continue playing while replying to text.
I start a video but not seeing the PIP icon. Setting is enabled.
I tried another app and it works! I feel really silly, I should have tried that before. Thank you so much for your time and solution. Merry Christmas.
