Why can’t I leave a group chat?? The group chat is gross and has malicious messages and spam porn messages it is disgusting and I do not want to see it on my phone, so just “ muting and deleting the messages” do not help because they keep coming back.

That is my point I don’t want these disgusting messages to keep popping up the moment someone text on it again. I want a permanent action to leave the chat. I do not see why everyone has to have iMessage on to be able to leave a group chat that you didn’t even want to be part of.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. It makes no sense as to why I can’t leave a group text message especially if it has malicious intent. Apple needs to fix this issue it is not reasonable to do this to apple users.
