Ok. I have an iPhone and I have to have iMessages turned on but I don’t have data. Every time someone texts me when I don’t have Wi-Fi I don’t get it when I need it. I have so many missed messages when I connect to Wi-Fi. Is there a way without turning off iMessages to fix this so that I can get all my text messages?

No, iMessage uses WiFi or cell data to transmit messages, SMS texts use cell voice. So if you don't have data and need your messages your best bet would be to quit using iMessage.
