And for the record - Mojave will not come as a .dmg file but will come as a Application placed in the Applications Folder. Once it is run and installed - the application will remove itself

Yes it is an app: Install macOS Mojave.app and I have it stored (along with all the security update dmgs). Build 18G103.

If you need to use it keep a 'master' safe off-site and just use a copy to do the installation/upgrade for as P.Phillips says it is likely to self-destruct.
