Connecting multiple bluetooth headsets to Apple TV

I have the latest Apple TV 4K, Apple Air Pod Pro and Beats Fit Pro trying to listen to a show using the two headsets with Apple TV 4K(2nd gen).

Apple TV shows both headsets connected. When my wife puts the Beats in her ears, everything is fine. But when I put the Air Pod Pros in my ears the sound on the beats disappears. When I remove the Air Pods, she can hear sound in the Beats. Apple TV shows both devices connected.

I have tried Wyze headphones in place of the Beats and get the same results when I use the Air Pods.

How can I get Apple TV to use two headsets at the same time?

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 15
