Captions in french

When I enable captions on google chrome, I only get captions for English videos. I was wondering if there was a way for me to enable captions in other languages like French.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

I meant Live captions, which can be enabled in google chrome, and then must be enabled on Accessibility settings. I found out that google chrome can only live caption english for now. So I guess that answers my question.

Are talking about captions where? Youtube? The available captions will depend on whatever the publisher decided to do.

Since I don’t use Chrome, can you just clarify: are you saying that it can generate live captions regardless of what site you arr using? Can you give a link to the description for this feature?
