Cannot decode music on iPad

This issue appeared all of a sudden on my iPad, as fas as I know without background update. My iPhone is fine.

I have tried deleting all downloaded music and turning off sync library but it does not help. I am on iPad Pro with 15.1.

This is super annoying for a paid Music subscriber who had downloaded everything for when I am flying

My iPad Pro with 15.1 also sometimes does this kind of unexpected error.

The best way to do it is to go to Settings -> General -> Transfer or reset iPad - tap Reset.

You will lose some settings but at least it should fix the error. NOTE: You will have to re-download the music if you do this.

Thank you.

First I tried the first ‘reset’ option, this did not solve the problem.

After I choose ‘erase all content and settings’ then restored everything from the iCloud which solved the problem.

Happy I can play my music again but not happy I had to go through this whole process. If the problem happens again I will stop my subscription and try my luck with another streaming service
