IPhone battery problem

I have an iPhone SE 2020 and only after 20 days of use, I felt that its battery is not the same as before, and by looking at the settings, I realized that the battery health has decreased by 2%!

With a little research, I realized that other people have the same problem with SE 2020!


Will this problem be solved by presenting a new update?


Is this a hardware problem?

People have this weird notion that Battery Health should never decline. The reality is Battery Health will decline, no matter what you do. Every time you charge your battery its health will decline. Its what batteries do. ALL BATTERIES. A 1 - 2% decline in Battery Health is normal and expected. So it's not a SE 2020 issue. And no, you should not expect some update to fix something which isn't broken and can't be stopped.


  • See this article about maximizing battery performance --> Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple
  • Don't let your battery fully discharge or actually go below 20%
  • Plug your phone into charge when you go to bed, with Optimized Battery Charging turned on, and leave it plugged in all night every night.
  • And stop worrying about something which is inevitable.
