I am running 15.0.1 on an iPad Pro without any problems. I always install through iTunes after making a backup. Not sure what the "same issues as other owners" is supposed to be. If it was widespread, we'd have heard about it by now.

And, unless millions report the same problem to Apple, they will not know what needs "fixing". so, it would be best to install via iTunes.

Respectfully, there are many issues in iPadOS15.x with which users are struggling.

A few examples:

  • Notifications and sound alerts for Mail are now fundamentally broken.
  • Notification delivery, in general, is unreliable.
  • Safari is unstable and regularly crashes.
  • Safari Sidebar and easy access to Bookmarks/Favourites, Reading List and History are functionally broken.
  • Loss of the persistent/pinned Home Screen Today View, available in landscape screen orientation, is hated by many.
  • Audible Alarms are unreliable or too quiet to hear.
  • Cannot exit Guided Access mode.

You are indeed blessed in not having experienced any problems yourself. If only we were all so fortunate.

Unless I (and others) completely misunderstood your reply to Aalexsa, the comment “it was widespread, we'd have heard about it by now” perhaps suggested that problems don’t exist.

Speaking for myself only, since release of the production version of iPadOS 15.0/15.1, I have personally experienced and reported every one of the issues that that I have listed above - plus others - across both iPad 12.9” M1 and iPhone 13P. I have also spent considerable time addressing these and other issues, reported by other contributors within these fora. As such, I believe it is entirely fair to say that there are genuine problems being reported here and elsewhere.

I remain hopeful that the many issues are addressed in short order, as iOS/iPadOS15 has great promise in its advertised (but as yet unfulfilled) feature set.

I have an IPad Pro 12.9 (3rd gen) and having a couple of frustrating issues since iOS 15 (15.01) was loaded. The first is not being able to connect to the internet and the second is rendering half of my Apple keyboard dead. Yes, half of the keyboard is not functional anymore. As an experiment I’ve also tried my Zagg rugged book go and a Basic Bluetooth keyboard. The interesting thing here is that the same keys on all three keyboards don’t function. The only keyboard that is fully functional is the IPad keyboard. Hopefully this is corrected in 15.02.
