Having trouble with Apple Watch

I have no idea what update messed up my watch or my phone as there have been a couple, but now all of a sudden when I receive a phone call when listening to music and I answer on my watch the music will begin playing again when I tap thr answer button on my watch. It used to mute the music and put me through to whoever called through my airpods pro, which could also be experiencing the bug as it too receives updates. So I don't know which device is at fault here as to why this is all of a sudden happening now. My iPhone 11 Pro Max is on 14.8. My watch is on 7.6.2. And my airpods pro are on 1.08. Any chance this is a bug on any of these OS's or has anyone here experienced this turn of events?

Hello and thank you for your reply. I don't think iOS 15 and WatchOS 8 are out yet. They are still in beta, aren't they? I just checked my phone and it said I was on the latest software. However, it's strange. It had a tab at the bottom that said upgrade to iOS 15. This is weird. I don't think I'm part of any beta testing program that I know of. Is IOS 15 out now? Is it stable? I don't usually install betas on my primary devices. I want to make sure it's safe to install before I do so. Sorry for all the questions but with people saying "don't install betas on your primary device" and "wait for the full release" I always want to make sure it's safe before I do so.
