Four Thoughts:
A. Remove Security Software:
Any Security Software installed? If so, uninstall it. When it comes to an iPhone, all you need to do it hold you finger down on it, and then tap the "X" when it wiggles. All should be uninstalled. Security Software gets in the way on an Apple device, and this is a pure example of how and why.
B. Clear Temporary Internet Files:
If Safari is slow, try clearing out your Temporary Internet Files: History, Cache, and Cookies. Go Here: Clear your Safari browser history and set up content blockers on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
C. Try manually restarting your iPhone:
D. Reset All Network Settings to Default:
Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc)

You are welcome. Glad all is good!
Thank you for spreading the word -- it will help many for certain.
Which was the solution?
I had a VPN. I’ve deleted and
now all good. Thank you so much for your help!😃
Would you possibly know why it also does this. I have to hold down the AA in top left corner for it to go normal. Thank you!
