I don't have a postcode! How do I use the app store?

Hey guys, I don't actually HAVE a postcode. Believe it or not but there actually are countries which don't really use postcodes. I really don't know how to get past the insert payment details section, it keeps asking me to show some postcode in some valid format like "333AAA333" so I'm badly stuck and very annoyed. I tried leaving it blank, using 0000 or 000000 but nothing works :(

If you are in a country that does not use post codes and the payment method form is asking for a post code, then you have the wrong country selected for your Apple ID.

Apple knows there are countries that don't use post codes and tailors the payment method forms for such countries to reflect this.

Make sure the Country or region set for your Apple ID is the one for the payment method you want to use: click here-> Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support

You cannot use a payment method from a country different to the one set for your Apple ID.
