Where do the files go once migrated from a PC?

Photos should be in Photos or Pictures folder, have you opened the Photos App?

Word docs, excel files, normally go in Documents folder I think.

Look in Sys Prefs>Users &Groups to see if there is a new User you can login to.

Which files?

Have you looked in Documents for instance?
