Glad you finally figured it out and solved your problem, your iPhone 6 does not have sufficient RAM to run iOS 13 or later and you cannot add RAM to it. You will need to buy an iPhone 6s or newer in order to update.

If you take your iPhone 6 to an Apple Store, along with several hundred dollars (or the local equivalent), they can get you set up with iOS 14.
