Has the yellow dot now been replaced by a yellow square ? The green dot hasn’t changed for when a app is using the camera on your iPhone, but now it seems to be a yellow square that pops up when a app is using your microphone. Or has this new icon got a totally different meaning ???

This indicator appears as an orange square if the Differentiate Without Color setting is on.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
