Dolby atmos option not displayed in the music settings

The updates are region specific, so you should check the apple website to make sure if the updates have been rolled out for your country. For Example if you visit https://www.apple.com/{countrycode}/apple-music/, when you scroll down you'll see a card which demonstrates the new lossless and dolby features. If it says "Coming Soon" or there is no such card, then in that case you'll have to wait. Unfortunately there is no way to say exactly when you'll get it.

True, but the updates are server side update, you'll not receive any update for the music app it is a backend switch that Apple will be flipping, and as I mentioned earlier the only way to check is to visit the apple website for your country it would be saying "Coming Soon" or that page would not be there at all.

Example for both :

"Coming Soon" -- https://www.apple.com/in/apple-music/ (Apple India)

"Lossless and Dolby card not there" -- https://www.apple.com/za/apple-music/ (Apple South Africa)

I’m having the same issue. My buddy in Florida does have the Atmos options on his iPhone. Same OS.

I just learned about this cool feature, so I followed all the steps, but it’s not available yet. I’m in Seattle... 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is strange, people from the US should have this feature. Anyways if you do not have it, then there is a trick that I have seen on multiple forums. I'm a bit skeptical about this trick but it seems to have worked for many.

Please follow the below steps:

Go to Settings --> Music --> Turn off Sync Library --> Wait for a few seconds --> Turn it back on

* Doing this might delete downloaded music.

Strangely enough, this option is also not available on my devices. Could it be because I do not subscribe to Apple Music?

I’m the same way. I don’t see any of these options but also don’t subscribe to Apple Music. I may subscribe to see if it changes things.
