Behringer UMC404

I BOUGHT INTERFACE BEHRINGER UMC404 AND THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT WORK WITH MAC IS STAYING WITH YOSEMITE SYSTEM...

I WONDER IF ANYONE HAS ONE OF THIS BUT WITH THE LAST IOS SYSTEM.

WHEN I BOUGHT IT , IT WASN´T COMPATIBLE WITH THE IOS SYSTEM FOLLOW BY YOSEMITE, I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK AND SAT ON YOSEMITE SINCE THEN, WHICH MEANS I CANNOT STAY IN THE PRESENT WITH MACHINTOSH...

THANKS

First, please make sure your caps lock key is undone. It makes it hard to read, and internet etiquette suggests you are shouting.

Yosemite is not an iOS, it is a Mac OS. iOS refers to the iPhone and iPad.

Numerous MIDI controllers and adapters exist for USB to MIDI that may connect to the Behringer with their own drivers.

I would contact the company https://www.behringer.com/downloads.html and ask them:

  1. Do they have 64 bit compatible software for use with your UHC404 on a Mac? This would at minimum allow it to be used on Catalina.
  2. Do they have software now that runs on El Capitan or later, and which Mac OS X version.
  3. Do they have experience connecting to it with Windows 10 or 7 on Boot Camp? If they do, then installing Boot Camp may be a viable option and running Windows on your Mac.

Their downloads do not indicate any Mac compatible version directly on their page. But some good MIDI adapters don't even require drivers: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1579830-REG/iconnectivity_mioxc_usb_c_midi_interface.html

And all you would need to do is know whether or not their software can run on the latest operating system.
