Please release iMessage for the browser

I realize it's totally intentional so that you keep people buying your macbooks so they can message only within the apple ecosystem. It's a money grab. I get it. But I wonder if you've thought about how many more people you could get to move to apple if you allowed imessage to be used in a web browser. I've bought my wife an iphone twice in the last two years to try and get her to move over since I love my iPhone and all my apple things. Both times she has returned it within two weeks because of iMessage not working in a browser. She works on a windows machine like most of America and as such doesn't even have an option to use a mac to send iMessages at work. I can guarantee Apple would at least get thousands of more dollars out of just my family if this was a feature. So she goes back to her janky android every time just so she can message in a browser. I'm sure this is the case across the board. Any plans to release this someday?
