When I connect earphones to my iPad, only the left has sound. I've tried Airpods and JLab earphones but the problem still exists. Is there a setting on the iPad to change this? This has only recently been happening.

Go to: Settings > General > Accessibility > under "Hearing", check and, if required, adjust the audio volume balance slider between the left and right channels.
