Camera isn't working

Camera isn't working at my Mabook Pro 2017 13" since previous 6 months.

I can't use Face Time and any other messenger applications.

How can I check it's a software or hardware error?

Quit all applications.

Restart the computer and test.

Single Out this User.

Create a new Administrator user, login to it, and see if you get this same error. If not, then it's something misconfigured in the current user islet. If so, then it is likely something misconfigured in the Mac as a whole.

Is there a camera even seen?

To Find Out:

  1. Go to: Apple menu
  2. Select: About this Mac
  3. Click: System Report... button
  4. View: Hardware on left-column
  5. Click: Camera
  6. Confirm if a Camera is Even Seen
