How can I chance format of text copied on gmail app?

Hi everybody,

on IPhone 12 Pro i need to send an email with a big part pasted from another email with another format, I would like to erase the differences of fonts between what I wrote and what I pasted...but there is not bar nor indication, even if I double tap the text... I don’t want it to become bold, italic or anything of that type, I want all the sentences to be of the same font and the same size.

hope I explained myself.

Thank you!

It took me forever to realize this but the formatting bar is only available in the built in iOS mail app. I have a third party mail app for my email and there is no formatting bar available.

Have you tried using the mail app on the phone, not the gmail app?
