App Library search
when I click the App Library search, the keyboard does not appear. I can click the alphabet on the side and scroll but can't type anything

To get started, does restarting seem to help with the issue, even if it's just temporary? Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If the issue persists after restarting, are you currently using the most up-to-date iOS version on your iPhone? If not, let's also update your iPhone with the steps listed here, and let us know if that helps: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
