I can’t take screenshots

every time i try to press volume up and power it wont press volume just goes up

Power button and home button held simultaneously for screenshots. The combination you’re trying will never work.

screenshot freezing Just recently, after taking a screenshot and adding it to my photos - that preview screen freezes and wont go away like it used to. 12 pro max screenshot unresponsive All of a sudden this morning my screenshot buttons stopped functioning. Is this a software bug or something? My wife has the same phone and hers still works. And yes I’m hitting the right buttons.

Which device do you have? This method for screen shots is only supported on the iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max, Xr, 11, 11Pro, 11 Pro Max, and 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max devices.
