When I airplay a podcast or music to my Apple TV HD and 2 home pod minis, I'm noticing a lag (the Apple TV audio is coming out a bit delayed). Is there a way to fix / account for this?

Reset them. On my HomePod, sometimes if I make any sound settings adjustment to my television or even move HomePod to a different spot, it freaks out like that. Getting used to it since Airplay is still in beta stage.
