iPhone and itunes

Hello we have a new MacBook Air and a lock iPhone that we are trying to restore and now it say to connect to iTunes, phone says " iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes, I have it plugged into my computer now what do I do.

Unplug it from the computer, turn off the iPhone and start over using the following instructions: If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
