I have a subscription with Cinemax via Apple tv channels but I am still being asked to pay for Cinemax shows. I tried to watch the show Warrior and watched the first episode for free but attempted to watch the second episode and apple is asking me to pay for the episode or full season. Why, when I have Cinemax subscription?
Same here! I am into my third month of a paid Cinemax subscription and all the other Max content plays. . Warrior will not.
Warrior is the only reason I subscribed to the channel. Now I can’t even finish the first season. On top of that, Apple/Cinemax just billed me again on Dec 22nd for a new month.
I cancelled January and requested a refund for the 30 days I just paid for.
I will likely have to purchase the whole season 1 to watch the last 2 shows - and buy season 2 as well.
But I wonder if this is an apple issue or if subscribing through prime I would have the same problem.
I had hoped signing up through apple would have saved me these hassles.
I can confirm that only the first episode of season 1 can be played without a fee. The rest have a paywall.
The “play in Cinemax” option (button) only shows up on episode 1. After that it is missing.
It shows me as subscribed for S1,E1 ONLY.
THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM, APPLE.
Apple issued me a refund in about 24 hrs.
Submit a request through the iTunes Store. Look up your purchases and “report a problem” for your current Cinemax charges.
Cancel you subscription before you are billed again.

I am also having this issue. I also got Cinemax because of the show Warrior. I am now not able to continue where I have left off.
Please get this issued fixed Apple.
