Back up can not be completed

My last successful back up of my IPad was on November 7. Not it will not back up, or estimate the next backup size. I have 82GB available on my IPad and plenty of cloud storage available. I have updated to the latest ios, 14.2. What is going on?

If a backup cannot be made - If you can't back up to iCloud or restore from iCloud backup failed - Apple Support.
