Be sure to disconnect any peripherals from your Mac as well before trying the install again.

Open your Applications folder and locate Install macOS Big Sur.app,
move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.
Connect your mac to your router via cable rather than WiFi.
Restart your mac re-download the Big Sur installer, do not use
the mac while it is downloading or any other devices that share the same
internet connection.

I was able to install Big Sur only after turning off the firmware password.
What exactly did you do to get it to work i redownload multiple times i even create a user but still it doesn’t work
