I need to reinstall Apple Keynote presentation software on my MBP laptop which is running MacOs 10.14.6 Mojave. I don't want to upgrade to MacOs 10.15.
I did the installation like this:
I threw the current applications to the trash and left them there.
1 Go to the App Store from the Apple menu.
2 Go to the Store menu and select View my account, with a valid account a list with applications will be displayed.
Search for Keynote. Numbers and Pages and continue with the download
That worked for me on two computers with High Sierra and Mojave. Right now, after days looking for a solution.

Thanks Gary, I tried that but Keynote doesn’t appear in the list. I’m guessing that is because I never updated it under my own Apple ID, whereas Pages and Numbers do appear. Really wish I hadn’t removed Keynote now. I thought at the time that I would never need it and if ever I did, I assumed that I could simply download it again. Apple has now made that impossible! What can I do? I really need Keynote now!
Any help gratefully received.
Will.
I guess it came pre-installed. The laptop was one of many purchased by my brother’s company and I was given this one to use as my own. There are two administrator level user accounts on the machine, the company’s IT manager’s (who must have set up the machine upon its arrival) and my own.
The issue I have is that I don’t want to update the OS to Catalina, which is what Apple say is required to install the only version of Keynote which is available through App Store. I just want to re-install the version I used to have.
Ask the owner, IT manager or other to set up Keynote on the MacBook, they will use the Apple ID used to install Keynote originally. If they are unwilling to do so, you are locked out from using Keynote for High Sierra.
Go to the App Store application in the Applications folder, sign in with your Apple ID, in the menu bar go to
Store and select; View, your previous purchases will be listed.
Can you explain what you mean by: " I never updated it under my own Apple ID"
How was Keynote originally installed?
Worked for me too Cristian. Thanks for the tip!
