new phone pairing with watch
Hi!!
Im setting up my new iphone (replacement) and trying to pair it to my apple watch. I erased my watch. it pairs then immediately says unpairing may take a few minutes... very confused

This doesn’t seem confusing to me. Apparently your Apple Watch was paired to your pre-replacement iPhone and not un-paired yet. That un-pairing must occur before any re-pairing to a different device.
