I recently updated to iOS 14, and the MAC address for all of my iPhones have changed. I noticed this after they all joined back they showed up as new devices with a different MAC. I looked them up to compare the old address, and they were different. I always thought MAC addresses were read only, so how could this happen?

Suggests the Mac address is now virtualized for some reason. They are indeed burned to hardware and not subject to change.
