When I try to “reinstall Mac OS”, I receive a message that I cannot connect to the internet. Is there a work around? Thanks.

Is there an error message(?) typically Interenet Recovery you need an adequate connection, try an Ethernet cable direct to your router, or move closer to your router or try a faster Network.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will look for a finding a longer cord to connect the gateway modem with the iMac. They are in different rooms. Thanks again. Mike
