Facetime that used to work is now greyed out?

I've noticed recently that a person I was previously able to facetime with is now no longer showing as a facetime-able individual.

The option is greyed out on my Macbook Pro.

On my iPhone I am able to Facetime this person perfectly.

Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Thank you for the help.

Resolved: Signed out of Facetime from the Facetime app and signed back in.

Sign out of FaceTime

  1. In the FaceTime app on your Mac, choose FaceTime > Preferences, then click Settings.
  2. Click Sign Out.
