Photos in Hidden Album show in Desktop Background

I have a Hidden Album but when I choose to have my Desktop Background to randomly display photos every 5 seconds, photos from the Hidden Album are included in the rotation. Is there any way to prevent the "hidden" photos from appearing? I am on Mac OS 10.15.6.

You may want to create smart album in Photos (Fie > New Smattered Album) with the rule "Photo is not Hidden".

Then select this smart album as the source of the Desktop picture. You can refine the smart album with additional rules, for example "Photo is Favourite" or similar.
