iTunes functionality in Apple Music

Can anyone here tell me how best to use Apple Music as your Music media manager? I have both Windows iTunes on a PC and Apple Music on a Mac with similar music on both. But since iTunes went away I have found it much harder to edit and organize my music in Apple Music and I was wondering if there is other ways or options to handle a large music catalog on the Mac. Presently I am still using The iTunes for Windows as my main media manger. But would like to shift to the Apple Music

Thanks for the Retro link I will play around and see what I discover. I downloaded a 30 day trail version of Swinsian and I am playing around with it in conjunction with Apple Music and I am starting to better understand how to do the editing I need.

I have a large library and many dupes and bad file names. Much of my problems came from using Apple IMatch in the cloud and ending up with lots of dupes to sort out.

I tried the Retro software and was able to download and install ITUNES 11 the last version with scrolling covers and it works great, this allows me to do the editing and managing my music, which I felt was missing from the Music App. Thanks for the suggestion. I no longer need Swinsain software which I was trying out.

I've had it with Music too. It's a mess. Just install iTunes on Catalina using Retroactive. Or take a look at Swinsian if you want to go a non-apple route. Hope this helps :)
