My iPhone’s touch screen has stopped working and I wonder if there is any way that i can recover the data from that phone?

Unfortunately the only way to access the iPhone is by replacing the touch screen as even iTunes won't let you back-up with out being able to enter pass-code on the screen.
You actually can get one more backup on your computer if you have previously synced with and trusted that computer.
