WiFi calling

Just purchased iPhone XR. As soon as I turn on WiFi calling and exit settings it turns back off. How do I fix this?

Are you using the same telephone number and account with the new iPhone? If so, call your carriers support number and see if they can check that the switch in device has not messed up settings with your account with them.


It may be that their system is stuck looking for the hardware ID of your old device, so isn’t allowing a new hardware ID to be linked to your number for WiFi call tracking and routing.
