“Unlock” ... how?

Passcode Unlock? If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
Activation Unlock? Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support
Cellular Carrier Unlock? Only the original carrier may do that if they wish.
Something else?
