I have a new IPad Pro ( 2019) and suddenly total the new new charger ( about a month old) no longer charges the IPad. I tried 2 different cables, neither work. Any ideas?

Thank you. I’m trying to source an alternative plug and cable to test. Tried the hard reboot, didn’t work. Have tried 2 different cables on the small plug unit, didn’t work either so it’s either the plug unit has failed or the iPad has an issue accepting power.
Ok so I tried a friends cable and no sign of it charging. I’m down to 20% power but it’s clear it’s an iPad issue. Extremely annoying given This pro is less than 12 months old. Makes me question ever buying one again. Also, don’t know how I can reach Apple support at this time.
You say you tried a friends cable, did this include a minimum 12W power block though as the actual USB cable alone would give same problem is the block isn’t putting out enough juice.
The Support phones are still open as I called them (well they called me from the Callback request made via the Support Site). Any Service is being done on a mail in process rather than a Genius Bar appointment in Store.
If using a high wattage charger, you must ensure that it is PD (Power Delivery) compliant. Note, QC chargers are not supported by Apple.

You’ve tried substitution of the cables, but what about the charger itself?
Unless you can change the charger as well, you’ll have difficulty isolating any problem to either the charger or the iPad.
If purchasing a new charger, ensure that it is rated for at least 12W (an Apple 18W charger is recommended).
A 5W iPhone charger is not sufficient to charge an iPad.
