Running iPad app on MacBook Pro

I work in a school and many apps on my IPAD that I use with my students. Now that we are distance learning, I need to run my apps from my laptop on Zoom teletherapy. I realize that I can run zoom from my iPad but I want to use my laptop since other items I need to display are already on my laptop.

I heard of the Duet Display ... would this allow me to run the apps on my laptop? This topic was not addressed on any of the Youtube videos.

The apps I want are not available on the MacBook.

Thank you.

Hello janicebclark,

I have now tried this approach with Zoom, I have used it with Webex and it works. I used it just today.

Plug your iPad into your Mac then open QuickTime Player. Select File > New Movie Recording than select the v next to the record button. From the drop list select your iPad, it should show up as an option. Now you can record away. I have included a screenshot so you can see the option.

I've also personally used this method. It works quite well.
