Hi Norm,

Not sure what I would do exactly however based on the information that you have provided, I would definitely try and Force ReStart the iPhone and see if that helps. You can Force ReStart your iPhone by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to Force ReStart your iPhone.
