Today I have received several notices online to update my Adobe Flash player. Last year I did it and had to buy the Malware program to remove it. Is there some way to determine if it is legitimate?

Always download direct from the developers website.
Never, never, never update any app based on a website popup message. If you do have Flash installed, check your computers system preferences and look for the Flash preferences there.

I, too, am receiving these pop-ups, but they are generating in new tabs in Safari - multiple tabs. And Flash doesn't show up when I go to >System Preferences. Advice?
