Ipad Air 2 icloud inbox

The emails in my icloud inbox have disappeared. Has anyone had this happen, if so what did you do about it please?

Assuming that you refer to your Apple email account, assuming that you’ve not deleted the email from you inbox, the usual remedy is to log-out from iCloud on your device, force-restart, then login again to iCloud.

To force-restart after logging out of iCloud:

On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
