iPad OS 13.4 - missing onscreen keyboard

The only thing I see from my onscreen keyboard after the upgrade to 13.4 of my iPad Pro is the top line of the keyboard (screenshot - attached). Any idea how to get it all back? Restarting the iPad does not work.

Hello,

Do you have a physical hardware keyboard connected to your iPad? You can summon the on-screen keyboard by long-pressing the circumflex on the far right of the Shortcuts Bar.
