wireless extenders

What non-apple wireless extenders will work with Airport Extreme. My Express has given out, and Apple no longer supports either one.

Although Apple has discontinued the AirPort routers, new, re-furbished and used AirPort Express devices are available on Ebay.com

Unfortunately, the answer is none. Apple uses a propriety method to extend their base stations via a wireless connection. Only other AirPort base station will work.
