iPhone won’t ring

My phone is not on silent, the volume is all the way up, and the do not disturb is turned off. What else causes this? It’s a new phone in otherwise excellent condition.

Are these calls that are not ringing, people that are not in your Contacts? If so, check Settings>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers. Turn that off.
