Options missing in iCloud for Windows : photo library, photo stream, download photos, etc.

Hello there. I was wondering why my photos from iCloud would not download to my pc, and then I discovered that I have only two options in iCloud for Windows, Photos: "iCloud Photos" and "Shared Albums".

Where have the other options gone? It should be like this:

Today the files are not downloading. I uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud on my PC and signed back in but still nothing. Can't download photos from iCloud on Windows 10 I have reinstalled iCloud on my Windows 10 PC through the Windows Store but I can't download photos from iCloud. On iCloud settings, when I click "Options" next to photos, I can only either check on "iCloud Photos" or "My Shared Albums" (see image). How can I activate the download option on my PC? Side note: I had installed an old version of the iCloud app with which I could download photos, but I can't do it anymore with this update. Thanks in advance

iCloud no longer allows for download photos on Windows 10? I've just reinstalled iCloud 11.2 on Windows App store. The "download photos" is no longer an option. This is a key feature that's been removed -- can someone share how/what they're doing to pull photos (full size) off from iCloud photos? I have an iPhone and up to date PC Windows 10 Home edition.

Indeed. I was using iCloud for Windows 10 but for this functionality I needed iCloud for Windows 7. (I am using Windows 10 so I think I can't really blame myself here. In other words: it makes no sense).
