Time Machine Back-Up of Application Support

I am deciding to reset my MacBook Air drive to make sure it is not corrupted. For this, I am using a time machine backup to save my data. However, I want to know if this will also save my user/library/ApplicationSupport files, since my game save data files are in there, and I don't want to lose them.

Thanks

MacBook Air

In theory, Time Machine will back up your entire notebook's disk. That is why it can be used with Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant, or in Recovery Mode, to restore your data. However, as a safety precaution, you should also make either a cloned copy of your notebook's drive and/or just these specific files if they are critical to you.
